Immerse yourself in the gothic world of **Bloodytears 3D**, a retro-style boomer shooter adventure platformer inspired by classic Castlevania. Follow the story of Aric, a lone warrior on a vengeful quest to destroy the malevolent Dracula who has terrorized the land of Valdoria and claimed his family. Armed with the divine whip, the Fallen Angel, and guided by the celestial being Michelle, you must navigate treacherous landscapes and face nightmarish creatures.

Start your journey in a ruined town swallowed by Dracula’s magic, then make your way through the cursed Graveyard Forest and the shifting Blood-Brick Labyrinth. Each step brings you closer to Dracula’s castle, where epic boss battles and dark secrets await. Will you have the courage and skill to defeat the vampire lord and restore light to Valdoria?

About the Bloodytears Trilogy:

The **Bloodytears Trilogy** is a series I designed to help me learn the mechanics and layouts of various game engines. While approximately half of the graphics are created by myself in Aseprite and Paint.NET, a significant portion of the decorations and props are sourced from the GOTHICVANIA asset pack by Ansimuz. This approach not only streamlines the learning process but also showcases the incredible artwork of Ansimuz, making the game a collaborative effort that highlights the best of both worlds.

Powered on the EFPSE Engine! EFPS Editor is a game construction tool that provides a set of editors complete with a map editor and a custom made engine (made using SFML), created exclusively for that! All integrated into single GUI. It was made as simple and easy to use as possible. Graphically and gameplay wise games you can create will be similar to Doom or its clones with modern addition of pixel lighting and (customizable through shaders editing) shader post effects.
