BLOODY TEARS -

Homage to the Retro days of games and inspired by cult classics that came before it... Bloody tears is a MetroidVania NES style action platformer that tells the story of Countess Marya Zaleska, the daughter of Count Dracula and herself a vampire.  Following Dracula's death, the angel of hope Michelle awakens Marya from her long slumber for she believes that by destroying Dracula's Curse Marya will be free of his demonic grasp and be able live in peace normally among the living. But this will be no easy task for Marya must face the evil forces of death journey across forsaken lands of darkness brave labyrinths temples graveyards and much more to reach her final goal Dracula's castle.  Will she stop the hordes of evil sent upon man by her father and put to rest the Curse of Dracula once and for all!!!

**About the Bloodytears Trilogy:**

The **Bloodytears Trilogy** is a series I designed to help me learn the mechanics and layouts of various game engines. While approximately half of the graphics are created by myself in Aseprite and Paint.NET, a significant portion of the decorations and props are sourced from the GOTHICVANIA asset pack by Ansimuz. This approach not only streamlines the learning process but also showcases the incredible artwork of Ansimuz, making the game a collaborative effort that highlights the best of both worlds.

The fate of Valdoria rests in your hands. Can you defeat Dracula and bring peace to the land?
